iPhone 18 Pro's Siri AI access depends on more than an English language setting
Apple's September support pages distinguish Siri AI's English beta, waitlist and regional restrictions from the broader Apple Intelligence features available on eligible EU iPhones.

An iPhone 18 Pro running iOS 27 does not by itself guarantee access to Siri AI. Apple's September 22 support page describes an English-language beta with regional eligibility and a waitlist after setup.
Users select Try Siri AI in Settings, complete voice enrollment and review privacy settings. The download begins after the wait ends. Device and Siri languages must match a supported language, and the Apple Account must be in an eligible region.
For EU residents, Apple distinguishes platforms: Siri AI is unavailable on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS, while eligible English-language Mac and Vision Pro setups can use it. Changing the phone's language is therefore not a promise of access.
That restriction is narrower than a ban on all Apple Intelligence. Apple's September 14 guide says supported EU iPhones can use next-generation photo editing, image creation and browsing features. Buyers comparing AI functions should check each feature's platform and region, not treat the brand as one switch.
