Control Resonant's Mac edition remains on a later timetable after console and PC launch

Remedy's current platform page distinguishes available console, PC and cloud versions from a Mac release planned later in 2026. Its general platform list does not establish Mac availability.

Control Resonant's release does not put its native Mac version on the same timetable as consoles and PC. Remedy's current game page says the title is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, and GeForce NOW. Mac remains scheduled for later in 2026.

The distinction was already present in Remedy's June 2 announcement. That statement set September 24 for consoles and PC, while listing Steam and the App Store as the later Mac routes. The current page preserves those separate release windows after launch.

Interpretation

Its platform list includes Mac alongside the available versions. Reading that list alone would miss the timing qualification in the accompanying text. For Mac owners, a listed platform is therefore not confirmation that its native edition has shipped.

Uncertainty

The pages give no exact Mac launch day. They also do not establish Mac hardware requirements or performance here, so PC availability should not be treated as evidence of native Mac compatibility.

After Tsuda voice ruling, Japan's actors' union checklist puts AI contracts in focus

Japan's actors' union had already urged performers to check six issues in AI voice contracts, including training, reuse, pay and data storage, before the Tokyo District Court ruled in Kenjiro Tsuda's TikTok case. The court recognized a conditional publicity-rights principle for voices but dismissed the deletion request because the videos were gone; it did not decide that this particular audio infringed his rights.

Beyond Video of the Year, six VMA craft prizes went to five videos

The 2026 MTV VMAs named Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” Video of the Year, but their six professional craft categories told a wider visual story. Direction, art direction, cinematography, editing, choreography and visual effects were spread across five different works. MTV labels these categories non-votable, so their results should not be read as another audience poll or as a sweep by the top-video winner.
