GTA VI's Only Raw Records links three ambitions inside Vice City's music business

Rockstar's character profiles connect a business owner, an aspiring label executive and a rap duo seeking another hit. They establish fictional relationships, not a playable management system.

Only Raw Records gives Grand Theft Auto VI a fictional music-business story beyond its soundtrack. Rockstar's character profiles connect label partners Boobie Ike and Dre'Quan Priest with the music duo Real Dimez, each pursuing a different route to success in Vice City.

Boobie's businesses include property, a strip club and a studio. His investment in the label rests on a partnership with Dre'Quan, whose ambition has been to enter music. Dre'Quan signed Real Dimez and is looking beyond booking performers at Boobie's club.

The duo consists of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, friends since high school. Their biography describes an earlier hit with local rapper DWNPLY, followed by five troubled years before joining Only Raw. They want another breakthrough, rather than arriving as established superstars.

Uncertainty

These are publisher-supplied character backgrounds. They show how ambition links the cast, but do not establish a playable label-management system, a mission sequence or the outcome of their careers.

After Tsuda voice ruling, Japan's actors' union checklist puts AI contracts in focus

Japan's actors' union had already urged performers to check six issues in AI voice contracts, including training, reuse, pay and data storage, before the Tokyo District Court ruled in Kenjiro Tsuda's TikTok case. The court recognized a conditional publicity-rights principle for voices but dismissed the deletion request because the videos were gone; it did not decide that this particular audio infringed his rights.

Beyond Video of the Year, six VMA craft prizes went to five videos

The 2026 MTV VMAs named Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” Video of the Year, but their six professional craft categories told a wider visual story. Direction, art direction, cinematography, editing, choreography and visual effects were spread across five different works. MTV labels these categories non-votable, so their results should not be read as another audience poll or as a sweep by the top-video winner.
