Asian Games ticket help desks and same-day sales have different roles
Only eight venues sell Asian Games tickets in person, although all offer online-purchase help. The official cutoff is tied to a session's end, not its start.

Visitors without Asian Games tickets can still buy on the day, but a help desk at a venue is not necessarily a ticket counter. Aichi-Nagoya organisers say every competition venue offers assistance with online purchases, while only eight sell same-day tickets in person.
The September 2 notice sets a deadline: online sales close 90 minutes before a session's scheduled end, rather than its start. At the eight sales venues, counters open 90 minutes before the scheduled start and close 90 minutes before the end. They sell available seat categories for that venue's sessions that day.
The list includes Aichi International Arena, Mizuho's athletics and rugby grounds, and football venues in Toyota, Shizuoka and Osaka, plus baseball grounds in Okazaki and Toyohashi. Seats may sell out.
A separate Ticket Center at Sakae Hirobas in Nagoya covers all sports. For spectators choosing between sessions, checking the official inventory before travelling avoids treating a help desk as a sales promise.
